Change to course plan
Dear students,
Thank you for filling in the mid-term course evaluations. Most of you are satisfied with the course as a whole, but have also complained about the workload. To solve the problem, we’ve dropped Unit 5 from the lesson plan. In its place we’re going to spend longer on Unit 4, which is without question the most demanding. We’ll also use class time to prepare for the final exam. In return, you must do a really thorough job on Unit 4. (Although most of you need no reminder, and are already doing a good job, several others are simply not doing the work. Those in this second category are respectfully warned.) Next week we’ll distribute a revised timetable with a new breakdown of points. In the meantime, start working on Unit 4. Regards from your instructors.
